On Friday, Antifa leader and Black Lives Matter activist Micah Rhodes was found guilty of rape and is set to be sentenced to prison on Monday.
Rhodes was found guilty by a Washington County Circuit Court jury on the charge of statutory rape of an underage girl. The victim’s information has been kept for personal privacy reasons.
In addition, Rhodes will appear in a Multnomah County Circuit Court where he will be on trial for allegedly participating in sexual conduct with an underage boy. He will face counts of second-degree sexual abuse and third-degree sexual abuse.
The Antifa leader was on supervision by the Oregon Youth Authority for sexual abuse and sodomy at the time he was charged for alleged abuse in both counties, authorities say. Juvenile records aren’t public, so details of the earlier case aren’t available.
Rhodes had been required to register as a sex offender at the time he was charged in the Multnomah and Washington county cases, however that didn’t stop Antifa from allowing him to work closely with underage boys and girls.
These cases clearly undermine the credibility, and causes of the Black Lives Matter movement, as a high ranking member has now been found guilty of rape.
