On Tuesday, while speaking to a crowd of military personnel, Trump took a jab at his former opponent in the 2016 presidential race, Hillary Clinton. The president also brought up the idea of a military force in space calling it ‘space force.’
“Very soon we’re going to Mars – you wouldn’t have been going to Mars if my opponent had won. You wouldn’t even be thinking about it,” President Trump said during the speech; a clear jab to Hillary Clinton.
“You know, I was saying it the other day, because we’re doing a tremendous amount of work in space, I said maybe we need a new force, we’ll call it the ‘Space Force.’ And I was not really serious, and then I said, ‘What a great idea maybe, we’ll have to do that, that could happen,'” the president added.
More details as the president’s thought of a ‘space force’ moves forward.
