On Monday, President Donald Trump called on the Department of Homeland Security to stop groups of migrants arriving at the U.S.-Mexican border applying for refugee status.

“Despite the Democrat inspired laws on Sanctuary Cities and the Border being so bad and one sided, I have instructed the Secretary of Homeland Security not to let these large Caravans of people into our Country. It is a disgrace. We are the only Country in the World so naive! WALL,” Trump stated.

From the beginning of his campaign, Donald Trump has been strict on the topic of illegal immigration, and an overflow of immigration in general. With the Democrats blocking the funding of his wall, he must go to greater options to get their attention, and solve the immigration problem in America.

Even after the president offered to let nearly all DACA recipients stay in the U.S. and be granted legal status, the  Democrats still wouldn’t compromise and offer border funding. All they care about is a reliable influx of illegal immigrants who are calculated to vote Democrat in the coming elections.

Trump also stated that he is considering making  an immigration agreement with Mexico that would be part of NAFTA in order to solve their horrid immigration laws and the lack of security on the Mexico side of the border.
